The Sustainable Energy Council and the U.S. Department of Energy announce the 2nd Hydrogen Americas Summit taking place on 10 – 11 October 2022 in Washington, D.C.
The Summit convenes Government representatives, hydrogen and energy stakeholders, service providers and end-users to identify opportunities, get insights into the latest policy developments that will be crucial to drive the Region’s industry forward.
Over 13 countries in the Americas have announced Hydrogen Strategies, cementing the key role that hydrogen will play in the region’s energy transition. With both public and private investments flooding into the hydrogen market, it’s a crucial time to establish regional cross-sector collaboration and business partnerships enabling a wide range of industries across the continent to decarbonize and transition into net-zero energy systems.
With this focus, the Summit is designed to facilitate alliances through interactive panels, hydrogen projects pitch session and multiple roundtable debates with thematic focuses ranging from clean hydrogen policies and new technologies to commercial opportunities in decarbonising hard to abate sectors as well as nuclear fusion opportunities for the future.
